EU trade Tariffs do not help European Businesses, They only serve to prop up the inefficient local industries, which in itself means that Europe will continue to slip behind the rest of the world in producing competitive products and services. Tariffs only serve to stifle real improvements and development of new technologies, not to mention driving up the cost of imports and more importantly for Europe, \tariffs drive up the cost of local production which relies on imported raw materials or co...

I have two Offices, one at home and one in the city, This is where I go when heatwaves hit and to meet with clients, the rest of the time I work at home, yeah yeah, cut to the chase> When I am at home I sometimes have the TV on, as I do today, Since I started today at approx 7.30am up till now 1.00pm AEST, I have very little else tham Michael Jackson, and sinnipts about GW in the UK and the bombings in Turkey, it's very sad that the media would be so obsessed with stories like this, personally w...

The recent attacks in Turkey just go to show, OBL and his cronies are not out for revenge, this is an attempt to incite hatred among Muslims against all people who do not adhere to the Orthodox version that OBL would believes to be the true path, this is born out by recent attacks against countries that whilst they may be Islamic are not Governed in the way of say Iran or Sudan. This doe not rule out revenge attacks. However it does seem that real MO is that suggested above. This is far more wo...

You only need to look at economies that are in recession to be able to see what my title means. Economies are fluid, meaning they grow, receed and change as the needs of the market change, there are two ways to manage change, one is to put up protectionist boundries and protect the internal economy from outside influences, or recognise the change ond be prepared with good forward planning . Protectionism does not encourage efficency nor does it encourage growth of new ideas, why bother if yo...

What is the problem with this group in your country, first the ten commandments, now christmas trees in public. Christians have the right to celebrate christmas, get off their case, what happened to the freedom of worship you guys are supposed to have. The so called politically correct liberals of the US, really have gone too far, pedophiles are free to preech their doctrine but not christians, why cause some people are not christian. These peopl would best be termed as wankers, more corrctly a...

I always find it interesting that when ever we hear a speech from the US administrations through the years, they always refer to the defence of the US and its demoracy. Yet they do not seem to have the same regard for their treatment of other countries. On almost every occasion when the US govenment has interfeered with another countries soverignty, it has been for the defence of the US, the attack of many Sth American countries, Chile spings to mind, when the US admistration, supported the Mili...

The question of whether the previous Iraqi Government was a security risk has been debated, many times, however I would like to add a few comments to this debate which seem to have been overlooked. These being , was or is there a security risk to the US main land, was there a connection to Oshama, or is the real risk to US interests in the middle east. After spending my extended christmas break bonning up on the history of the so called rogue state and the involvement of various US adminis...

When I awoke today I thought Mr Bush Had a good chance of winning the Presendential election, however after I watched his intervie in the Oval office, he looked tired, and more than a little uncertain, I would have to say that he looked like someone who wishes he was somewhere else today. I believe Mr Blair is finished, however I do believe his party will retain power with a new leader, although they seem more than happy to keep him in the chair while he takes the heat. In Australia, I bel...

In todays Oval office interview with GW Bush, Mr Bush admits that mr Kay has said there are no WMDs, he goes on to say that however he did have the capability, I got a bit embarresed for him at this point , probably because we all knew that, I was he and his advisers who told us that there was more. He definitely looks like a man who wishs it would all just go away. What gets me is when they have the enquiry into the intelligence, which poor bastard is going to forced to fall on his sword, so...

Is Israel justified in their contiunal murder of Palestinians, and when you take away a countrie's and its peoples sovergnty, their ability to self defence, and they fight with what they have left are they rightfully considered as terrosists. Are these people fighting a civil war or are they attacking another country in an in just way. While I agree that their metods and targets are not right, are they any less wrong than the treatment metered out to them by Israel, whose only major difference i...

Lately I have had cause to ask this question, does money really matter any more should we move on, and when pondering this question there are reasons to conclude both yes and no. I am interested to see what people think, more so than just putting forward my own observations. I find that more and more we are discussing money less and less.
